By opening the section of the E763 motorway between Surčin and Obrenovac, Corridor 11, popularly known as "Miloš Veliki," finally gains full significance for those traveling to Čačak or in the opposite direction.
The relatively short stretch, just under 18 kilometers long, will have an unusually significant importance as it will connect the Belgrade bypass and the E70 and E75 motorways with the Corridor 11 section leading to Preljina via the Surčin interchange. This means that after months of announcements, the journey from Belgrade to Čačak will finally be possible in just over an hour.
It is worth noting that with the opening of the Obrenovac - Ljig section of Corridor 11 in August this year, a major step was taken towards connecting the cities of Čačak and Belgrade. However, the lack of access roads and connections to the existing E70 and E75 motorways resulted in significant congestion at the entrance and exit points of the new motorway near Barič. With the completion of this relatively short section between Surčin and Obrenovac, traffic on the Ibar Highway and the Obrenovac Road (from Ostružnica to Barič) should be significantly relieved, and the connection between Belgrade and Western Pomoravlje will be greatly improved.
There will be no additional toll charges on the newly built section; the current toll system, which has been in place since September 1st after the opening of the Obrenovac - Ljig section, will continue. Therefore, starting from the Obrenovac toll station, the toll rates will remain as follows: 110 dinars (Ub), 160 dinars (Lajkovac), 240 dinars (Ljig), 350 dinars (Takovo), and 420 dinars (Preljina).
You can be among the first to see the detailed route of the newly completed E763 motorway section between the Surčin interchange and the Obrenovac interchange on the PlanPlus.
