Expansion of the parking zones in Zemun

From Monday, 1st April 2019, the expansion of the so-called Blue parking zone in Zemun officially comes into effect, encompassing the following streets: 22nd October, Akademska, Avijatičarski trg (left side when viewed from the direction of Belgrade), Bežanijska, Dr Miloša Radojčića, Dubrovačka, Glavna (left side when viewed from the direction of Belgrade), Gundulićeva, Majakovskog, Nemanjina, Nikolaja Ostrovskog, Preka, Rabina Alkalaja, Rajačićeva, Svetosavska, Štrosmajerova, Viktora Bubnja, Vrtlarska, Vukova, Miroslava Tirša, Karađorđeva, Danila Medakovića and Karađorđev trg.

However, the implementation of the parking zone system will not start immediately. In the following days, employees of JKP Parking servis will first inform citizens about the conditions and payment methods for parking through flyers.

It is worth noting that the Blue parking zone includes public parking lots outside the zoned city area where parking is not time-limited but is subject to payment, specifically on weekdays from 8 am to 9 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm.

Payment for parking can be made by sending an SMS to the number 9119 (for hourly parking) at a cost of 31 dinars, or to the number 9118 for multi-hour parking (from the moment of payment until the parking time expires) at a cost of 150 dinars. Additionally, parking payment can be made by purchasing an electronic parking ticket from the inspector on-site or by buying a parking ticket at the JKP Parking servis customer service, post offices, or kiosks.

As customary practice, residents who have registered residence addresses within the expanded Blue parking zone are entitled to a discounted monthly, known as the resident parking permit, priced at 457 dinars. This permit applies exclusively to the residential area and is not valid in other parts of the Blue zone located in different parts of the city.

As a reminder, in mid-December of last year, the Green parking zone in Zvezdara was also expanded.
