Through tests we administer in the early stages of pregnancy, from weeks 11 to 14, we can determine if a pregnant woman is at risk, thereby allowing us to provide extra attention to those who show a risk of developing pre-eclampsia. Studies have shown that with the help of prophylactic aspirin therapy, the risk of pre-eclampsia can be reduced by 62% in pregnant women who are at a higher risk.
